Description: This women’s vintage haori is crafted from rinzu silk in a refined petrol-toned color. The exterior features an all-over kikkō pattern (亀甲)—a traditional hexagonal motif inspired by the turtle shell—interspersed with delicate white dots that add visual rhythm and lightness to the design. In Japanese culture, the kikkō pattern symbolizes longevity, protection, and good fortune, as the turtle is associated with a long and auspicious life.
The interior is lined with silk decorated with a traditional Japanese kuruma (車, ceremonial carriage) motif, offering a subtle historical and cultural contrast. The haori is finished with traditional haori himo (decorative haori ties), preserving its authentic form.
Fabric: Rinzu silk exterior with kikkō (亀甲) pattern and white dot accents; silk lining with Japanese kuruma (carriage) motif.
Style: Women’s vintage haori suitable for both traditional wear and modern outfits. Its calm color palette and symbolic patterns make it an elegant, versatile piece.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The silk is well preserved, colors remain balanced, and the lining and haori himo are intact, showing only light, age-appropriate wear.
